The Rector of Thamar University Inspects the Equipment of Sports Activities for the Annual Competitions Thamar University Media/Jamal Al-Bahri / Jumad Akher 14, 1445. December 27, 2023 ■ The Rector of Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi with his Deputy for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, and the Vice-Rector of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdulkarim Zabibah, and the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram visited today the process of organizing sports activities at the University and equipping the arenas and playgrounds allocated for this inside the Campus in order to effectively contribute to the Annual Sports Activities and ensure full readiness for the sports competitions organized by the University this year under the title "Al-Aqsa Flood". The Rector of the University stressed the importance of equipping sports arenas and stadiums with the best available means and appropriate equipment to ensure great interaction of the University's employees, and achieving the best results by the students of Thamar University in sports activities, pointing to the need to raise the flag of Palestine next to the Yemeni flag at the events. The choice of the name "Al-Aqsa Flood" for all sports events and student activities at the University this year is a confirmation and support for the Palestinian people and their heroic resistance.
