An Important Meeting Discussing Cultural Activities at 'Al-Aqsa Flood' Events at Thamar University Thamar University Media / Jumad Awal 28, 1445. December 11, 2023 ■ Today, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of Student Affairs, chaired an important meeting to discuss the cultural activities that will be held as a part of the annual" Al-Aqsa Flood " of student activities. This event is organized by the General Directorate of Student Activities of the Student Affairs Department. The meeting was attended by Mr. Hassan Al-Mawshki, the Cultural Consultant of the Rector of the University, and Dr. Bashir Zendal, the Professor of Language at Thamar University who were selected as Judges of the Cultural Competitions. Dr. Al-Rifai spoke at the meeting about the importance of Cultural Contributions and writings within the National and value framework of Yemeni public, as a religious audience with long-standing Ethics, Customs and Values. Dr. Al-Rifai stressed the need for contributions to be a factor of support and consolidation of those great values, pointing out that some contributions should include the sacrifices of the army and the Popular Committees in their Jihadist march to defend the homeland and confront aggression on behalf of the nation. He added that Yemenis have proved to those who had a grain of doubt that they are the Guardians of the southern gate of Arabism and Islam, and that they are loyal to those principles and values and are racing to sacrifice for them.
