Thamar University Welcomes Delegation from Amran University to Enhance Cooperation and Exchange Institutional Expertise

■ Under the patronage and with the warm welcome of the Rector of Thamar University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the university today received a delegation from Amran University.

The visit aimed to enhance institutional cooperation and exchange administrative and financial expertise between the two universities, contributing to improved performance and higher quality of administrative work in higher education institutions.

The delegation was received by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Rector's Assistant for Centers Affairs, Professor Dr. Essam Wasel, the General Secretaryof the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, and several other university leaders. Amran University delegation included Dr. Ahmed Sultan Al-Baroushi, the General Assistant Secretary, and Mohammed Al-Najri, the General Director of Financial Affairs.

At the start of the visit, the General Secretary of the University welcomed the visiting delegation, conveying to them the greetings of the University Rector, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, and emphasizing Thamar University's commitment to strengthening cooperative relations with Yemeni universities and exchanging expertise and successful experiences to enhance institutional performance and elevate the level of administrative and academic services.

From their part, the members of the Amran University delegation expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome, commending the advanced level of administrative organization and institutional structure they observed at Thamar University.

They stressed the importance of continuing reciprocal visits, as they provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and develop administrative practices among higher education institutions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Thamar University presented a commemorative plaque to the Amran University delegation, expressing the depth of the fraternal relations between the two universities and acknowledging this visit, which embodies the spirit of cooperation and the exchange of expertise among higher education institutions.

The delegation toured several university facilities, including the General Secretariat, the University Presidency, the Deanship of Student Affairs, and a number of colleges and departments. They were briefed on administrative and organizational mechanisms, and received explanations of key administrative systems, procedures, and services offered by the university, as well as institutional experiences that have contributed to improved performance and enhanced work quality.
