Thamar University and Yemeni-Omani United Telecommunications Company Discuss Cooperation and Sponsorship of the Sixth Technical Conference

■ As a part of expanding institutional partnerships supporting scientific research, the Rector of Thamar University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, along with the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Zabiba, met with the CEO of Yemeni-Omani United Telecommunications Company, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shami, in the presence of the General Director of Financial Affairs at Thamar University, Mr. Abdulghani Al-Hajjaji.

The meeting focused on exploring avenues for cooperation and joint coordination regarding the company's sponsorship of the Sixth Technical Conference, organized by the Faculty of Computer Science at Thamar University in 2026.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the technical and administrative arrangements related to finalizing an agreement for sponsorship of the conference. This agreement aims to contribute to the success of the conference and the achievement of its scientific objectives. They emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Thamar University and private sector institutions to support scientific research and innovation, and to enhance the quality of the academic and technical events organized by the university.
