The Rector of Thamar University Chairs a Meeting to Follow up on the Implementation of the University's Strategic Plan

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University chaired today a meeting in his office that included Dr. Zaid Al-Hadour, the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance and Mr. Jamal Al-Bahri, the General Director of Media at the University.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Haifi stressed the need to expedite the preparation of the final report of the plan and praised the efforts of the Dean of the Development Center in following up on its implementation and stressed the importance of overcoming any shortcomings or difficulties that may face the implementation of the strategic plan or the preparation of performance reports.

In the meeting, Dr. Al-Hadour reviewed the report on following up on the implementation of the executive plan based on the University's Strategic Plan (2022-2026) until the end of 2024.

The report included a review of the formation of a committee to follow up on the implementation of the plan and the extent of the commitment of the units affiliated with the University Presidentcy and the administrative and academic units at the University to implement it.

The meeting discussed the extent to which the University media has accomplished the tasks assigned to it within the executive plan and its impact in supporting and implementing the sub-plans of the academic and administrative units.

Dr. Al-Hadour also stressed the importance of the media in achieving the goals of the University's strategic plan.
