University Council Approves Cooperation Agreement between Thamar University and Agricultural Research

■  Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, chaired today the first meeting of the University Council for the academic year 1446, (2024 - 2025) in the Meeting Hall at the University Presidency.

 

In the meeting, the Council reviewed the joint cooperation agreement between Thamar University and the General Authority for Agricultural Research and Extension regarding enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of scientific research, training, agricultural application, exchange of expertise, information, publications, and developing plans and programs to conduct joint research, which was signed on Safar 24, 1446. August 28, 2024.

 

On the other hand, the University Council discussed a number of topics on its agenda, including discussing the recommendations of the first Academic Council for the academic year 1446, (2024-2025), regarding promotions, settlements, and appointments for faculty members and their assistants. 

 

The Council also discussed the recommendations of the Council for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research included in the minutes of its first meeting for the academic year 1446, (2024-2025), including the approval of the final results of graduates of graduate programs in a number of colleges.
