Thamar University and the Agricultural Research and Extension Authority Sign a Scientific and Technical Cooperation Agreement

■ Within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation and integration between government agencies in the scientific and agricultural research fields, a joint cooperation agreement was signed today between Thamar University, represented by the University Rector, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, and the General Authority for Agricultural Research and Extension, represented by the Authority's Rector, Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Olafi.

 

The agreement included enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of scientific research, training, and agricultural application, as well as exchanging experiences, information, publications, developing plans and programs to conduct joint research in a way that serves the public interest and enhances the effectiveness of agricultural research activities between the two sides.

 

The signing of the agreement was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdulkarim Zubiba, and Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, and the Dean of the Academic Development Center, Dr. Zaid Al-Hadour, the General Director of the Research Sector at the General Authority, Dr. Hassan Al-Khawlani, the Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at Thamar University, Dr. Mohammed Saleh Thumaran, the Head of the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Unit, Dr. Ahmed Al-Akwa, the Vice-Dean of the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Fathi Al-Shawish, the Head of the Agricultural Department at the College, Dr. Ali Hunish, the General Director of Media, Mr. Jamal Al-Bahri, and the General Director of International Relations, Hafidha Al-Rawdhi.
