Joint Cooperation Meeting between Thamar University and the Supreme Agricultural Committee to Promote Scientific Research in Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine

■ In a step that confirms Thamar University's commitment to developing its academic programs and linking them to societal needs, the University Rector, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, held a joint meeting today with the Supreme Agricultural Committee to discuss ways to support and enhance the Colleges of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine at the University.

During the meeting, discussions took place between the University and the Supreme Agricultural Committee, represented by Engineer Haider Ali Al-Jabali, and the membership of each of Haitham Hassan Jahaf and Yasser Ahmed Hadi, on ways to support the Colleges of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine.

The two sides discussed a joint cooperation plan aimed at improving the conditions of the two Colleges, including describing their programs and research plans. It was also agreed to involve the Agricultural Research Authority in various programs to ensure raising the level of cooperation and coordination between the activities of the Authority and scientific research in the two Colleges.

The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies, Prof. Abdulkarim Zabiba, Student Affairs, Prof. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, Academic Affairs, Prof. Adel Al-Ansi, the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Abdulghani Al-Yahiri, the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the Dean of the Academic Development Center, Dr. Zaid Al-Hadour, the Head of the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Unit, Dr. Ahmed Al-Akwa, a number of Vice-Deans of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, the heads of Departments, Specialists from the two Colleges, and the General Director of Media, Mr. Jamal Al-Bahri, and the General Director of International Relations, Hafidha Al-Rawdhi.
