Dear visitors of the faculty's website, I welcome you all to our faculty. I would like to let you know that the Faculty of Human Medicine is one of the largest colleges at Thamar University. It was established in 1998 and quickly made its way within a few years to become at the forefront of medical colleges at the national level. Despite its diminishing teaching staff in the past years, and the emigration of some of its best professors, it continued to achieve its mission, and practiced its duties and activities at the highest level.  This achievement was due to the faithful and fruitful efforts made by its academic and administrative staff, who patiently and honestly steadfast in the teaching halls, college departments and laboratories, carried out their duties in spite of the scarcity of capabilities and salary stoppages for many years. 

About fifteen batches of the faculty students have graduated within two decades, and now they present their message and serve their patients at home country and abroad in all disciplines. We hope that we will reach the level of excellence and not be satisfied with what has been achieved. What we consider today is new and modern, it will inevitably be old and backward tomorrow. We always hope that our college does not be ambitious only for to be at the forefront.

Surely, it is the Faculty of Human Medicine at Thamar University, which I have the honor and I feel proud to be one of its professors.
