◼️Prof. Dr. Bashir Mohammed Al-Maqaleh, the Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at Thamar University, extended his warm welcome to all researchers, academics, experts, and stakeholders participating in the Sixth International Conference on Emerging Smart Technologies and Their Applications (eSmarTA‑2026). The conference is organized by Thamar University in partnership with Yemen Research, and under the technical sponsorship of the IEEE Yemen Subsection, operating under the theme: "Smart Transformation Towards a Secure and Sustainable Digital Future."
Prof. Al-Maqaleh emphasized that the conference serves as a premier international scientific platform for the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and for showcasing cutting-edge research and innovations in the field of emerging smart technologies. This, he noted, contributes significantly to advancing scientific research, broadening the horizons of academic collaboration, and supporting digital transformation and sustainable development efforts.
He further clarified that the conference proceedings will take place on 4–5 August 2026 at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, Thamar University, with wide participation from researchers and academics both from Yemen and abroad. Participants will present peer-reviewed scientific papers addressing the latest advances in artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, and smart technologies alongside their diverse applications.
The Dean expressed his sincere appreciation to all participants and guests of the conference, wishing them a pleasant stay and a fruitful scholarly engagement that will help realize the conference objectives and further consolidate Thamar University's standing as a hub for scientific research and innovation, as well as an active academic forum for regional and international scientific communication.
