The Handover Committee at Thamar University Completes Procedures for the Transfer of the Deanship of the Faculty of Engineering, in Implementation of the University Rector's Decision

■ In implementation of the directives of the Rector of Thamar University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, and pursuant to Decision No. (134) of 2026 issued on July 26, 2026, a handover meeting was held this morning at the Faculty of Engineering between the outgoing Dean, Dr. Fouad Al-Jermouzi, and the incoming Dean, Dr. Rashid Al-Sanfi, in the presence of the committee tasked with overseeing the handover procedures.

The committee was chaired by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, and attended by the University General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Academic Affairs, the General Director of Internal Audit, the General Secretary of the Faculty, as well as a representative from the Legal Affairs Department and the remaining committee members.

The committee reviewed the handover report, including all documents, records, assets, and holdings of the college, and completed the necessary procedures in accordance with applicable regulations and bylaws.

The meeting concluded with the signing of the handover report by the outgoing and incoming deans, in the presence of committee members. This marked the completion of the transfer of responsibilities and the official commencement of duties by the new dean. The committee expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the outgoing dean during his tenure and wished the incoming dean success in continuing the development and advancement of the College of Engineering's academic and administrative performance, in line with the university leadership's directives and its scientific and national mission.
