The Faculty of Arts receives an archaeological visit to two schools of Al-Wihdah in Ans and Al-Arabia Al-Saeeda in Dhamar

The Faculty of Arts receives an archaeological visit to two schools of Al-Wihdah in Ans and Al-Arabia Al-Saeeda in Dhamar Thamar University Media / Amin Al-Nahmi / Jumad Akher 28, 1445. January 10, 2024 ■ As a part of the events and activities of the Al-Aqsa Flood carried out by Thamar University, the Department of Antiquities and Museums at the Faculty of Arts received today an archaeological visit to the students of the two schools of Alwihdah in Ans Directorate and Al-Arabia Al-Saeeda school in Dhamar. They were received by the Dean of the College, Dr. Amin Al-Jabr, who welcomed the students and stated at the beginning of his speech that all Departments of the College welcome students and the Administration of the two schools and that all its Departments welcome them in the near future. He pointed out that this visit is considered a coordinating visit, if not a promotional one to the importance of antiquities and to get acquainted with the Department of Antiquities and Museums. From his part, the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Fadhel Al-Omaisi, expressed his happiness with the students' Initiative, at the beginning of which he explained the importance of Antiquities, the need to preserve them, and considering them as precious treasures that every student should recognize their cultural importance before material. From his part, the Head of the Department of Antiquities and Museums, Dr. Salah Al-Kawmani thanked the coordinators of this visit. He also welcomed visiting students, expressed his readiness to introduce students to the sections of the museum, abd explain the artifacts found in the museum. At the end of the visit, the General Secartary of the College, Mr. Ali Al-Bakhrani, thanked everyone who in turn arranged for the visit and good reception and expressed his happiness with this visit which he hopes will not be the last. https://www.tu.edu.ye/faculty/view/art/2412/2600
